This is a quick tasty Asian style meal. Honey can be omitted & this will greatly reduce carbs.
Makes about 2 serves, 10g carbs per serve.

450g/1lb | chicken thigh fillets | 0g |
1 | medium onion | 5g |
2 | cloves garlic | 1g |
1 tblspn | finely chopped fresh ginger | neg |
20ml | dark soy sauce | 3g |
10ml | honey | 10g |
1 | fresh chilli (hot or mild whatever you prefer) | 1g |
Total Carbs | 20g |
Cut chicken thigh fillets into 3cm/1.5 inch chunks.
Slice onion, crush garlic & finely slice chilli.
Heat a medium saucepan & add a tablespoon olive oil. Add chicken & cook until lightly browned. Remove to a bowl.
Add some more oil & cook onion, garlic, ginger and chilli until onion is soft. Add soy sauce & honey & return chicken & any juices to the pan. Simmer for 10 minutes on med-low heat until sauce reduced.
Serve with stir-fried veges or salad
